25 Years ago, I asked, “Now What?” Here’s the Answer.
I remember it like it was yesterday. The year: 2000. The month: February. The shingle was hung. I registered the J. Cohn Marketing Group, Inc. with the Colorado Secretary of State. The business was born and the first step was taken. I felt confident enough to hit the “go” button after 20 years of corporate and agency experience. But the question was loud and clear: “Now what?”
Fast forward to July 2025. Here we are, 25 years later. With hindsight, I can answer that question. That moment of possibility turned into a journey filled with learning, adapting, building relationships, and working with incredible people. It brought real results to our clients and sparked countless discoveries along the way. Most importantly, I have had the privilege of working with an amazing team and continue to do so today.

I’m grateful for every client who has trusted us over the years and for the many COHNIANS, including expert partners, who helped shape the agency COHN has become. The question got answered. I’m just glad I took that first step and had the courage to ask it.
