Johnnie Walker’s Intense VR Campaign Shows the Consequences of Drunk Driving

It’s said that an intelligent person learns from his/her own mistakes, and a genius learns from the mistakes of others. Maybe VR will change that. This gut-wrenching VR experience from Johnnie Walker takes the audience through the haunting experience of being in an alcohol-related car crash. The direction alone is impressive, and having the 360-degree experience puts the video over the top. Watch this video now, and don’t drive drunk this holiday weekend.

#OptOutside — Will You Go Out With Us?

By now, most people are familiar with REI’s #OptOutside campaign—on Black Friday the outdoor gear giant closed its doors and encouraged people to spend time outside with their loved ones. From what started as a method to encourage people to skip the long Black Friday lines and spend time adventuring with family and friends has evolved into a movement of sorts. I wonder if Black Friday will eventually become obsolete?

“Welcome to my Couch” by The Holderness Family

As the holiday season has sprung among us, it’s important to keep in mind the true meaning of this season’s festivities. Forget about the election and instead, remember that spending time with family and friends spreading holiday cheer is what it’s really about. Don’t ruin those special moments around the dinner table talking about politics. “My House” by Flo Rida happens to be one of my favorite songs and this parody by a YouTube famous family will definitely make you chuckle. Happy Thanksgiving!

DIA’s Newest Feature Helps Brand the Airport as a Destination

Ice rinks? Beer gardens? When you think of airports, these are probably the last things that come to mind. Denver International Airport (DIA) is attempting to change that philosophy and give you even more of a reason to visit the Centennial State. Opening this Black Friday, November 25th, Denver will host a first-ever ice rink for its visitors, proving that airports are joining the massive wave of destination brands. This isn’t the first time DIA has offered perks to fliers and visitors alike. Back in September, they hosted their third Oktoberfest Beer Garden, featuring the likes of 10 local breweries. Whether it involve ice skating, beer, or cannabis, destination marketing is here to stay. Have a place you’d like to see become a more desirable destination? COHN has a team of experts ready to make your location the hot destination brand of the season.
