  • Cities lived in: Omaha, NE; Fort Collins, CO; Denver, CO San Francisco, CA; Phoenix, AZ; Nashville, TN
  • What do you do in your spare time? My other job is raising two good humans, a significant time commitment.
  • Someday I plan to… Learn the cello.
  • Unexpected fun fact: I love to read about how people design spaces that impact behavior.
  • A really big accomplishment: I worked with The Washington Post and a retail REIT on a multi-media editorial series that tracked the shopping habits of teenagers. The Washington Post’s publisher at the time called it one of the most interesting and fun endeavors the newspaper had undertaken.
  • Who knew? I traveled on a tour bus for two months with children’s storybook stars including Clifford the Big Red Dog booking interviews for Reading is Fundamental and Visa spokespeople. Oh, and I have not seen Game of Thrones.
  • A quote you love: “When you have exhausted all possibilities, remember this: You haven’t.” – Thomas Edison
  • Why marketing? The industry is constantly evolving and keeps me on my toes. One aspect that remains is that we can’t rest on what was working yesterday. We are required to question and challenge different solutions and we are always learning. Also, I am a creative groupie; I love to hang with designers and artists.
  • Favorite video game: My ‘handheld’ Frogger (era:1983)
  • Favorite board/card game: Hearts and Gin, which I play with my grandmother, aunt and mother. You better have thick skin before you get into a card game with my 98-year-old grandmother.
  • Favorite word: Persnickety

  • What do you order at a coffee shop?: Americano/black
