It Could Take 83 Years to Close the Gender Gap, Study Says

You’ve come a long way, baby—and we still have 83 more years to go. On the front doorstep of a historic moment in U.S. gender politics, it’s worth reading and remembering that we still have hard work to do as a society before leaping the gender gap. Looking at the categories of health, education, economic participation, and opportunity, the World Economic Forum found that women are worse off than men by 31.7 percent. Progress never comes soon enough, but we’re on the right path. March on.
