What We Read This Week – October 28, 2016

Sit back, relax, and catch up on what we read this week.

Critical Things Smart People Never Say

No huge surprises, but I found myself identifying with #6. Perhaps a gentle nudge to self-deprecating employees everywhere to rethink our approach.

It Could Take 83 Years to Close the Gender Gap, Study Says

You’ve come a long way, baby—and we still have 83 more years to go. On the front doorstep of a historic moment in U.S. gender politics, it’s worth reading and remembering that we still have hard work to do as a society before leaping the gender gap. Looking at the categories of health, education, economic participation, and opportunity, the World Economic Forum found that women are worse off than men by 31.7 percent. Progress never comes soon enough, but we’re on the right path. March on.
CJ Powell, Writer

Anne Wright, Senior Account Director
